Man dies in Hopewell Twp. after single vehicle crash Saturday

A man died Saturday night after losing control of his car and crashing it into a small embankment in Hopewell Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office. 

The man, who has not been identified yet, died at 10:48 p.m. on Saturday near Piedmont Road and Hunters Ridge Lane. 

The adult male driver reportedly lost control his his car at 9:56 p.m., causing it to flip and crash into an embankment in a field, a news release states.

There were no passengers or other vehicles involved in this incident, the release states.

The driver died at the scene. His identity will be released later once next of kin is notified.

There will be no autopsy, but a routine toxicology test will be done, according to the release.
