Police: Pence rally could clog traffic in Fairview Twp.

High volumes of traffic are expected on Monday due to a rally featuring Vice President Mike Pence at Capital City Airport in Fairview Township, according to Fairview Township Police.

While the campaign event for President Donald Trump isn't slated to start until 4 p.m., the police department is urging motorists to expect high volumes of traffic and "periodic road closures" between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., according to a new release.

The following roadways will be affected: The Pennsylvania Turnpike; Interstate 83; Lewisberry Road; Old York Road; and Airport Road.
