Mount Rose Avenue, Haines Road intersection work will alter traffic flow

More road work is planned this weekend at Mount Rose Avenue and Haines Road, reducing traffic on both roads to a single lane at the intersection, officials said.

The work will begin at 2 a.m. Saturday and expected to be completed by 6 a.m. Monday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Construction continues at the Mount Rose Avenue, Interstate 83 junction after Governor Wolf allowed certain road project to resume work following the COVID-19 shutdown. Saturday, April 25, 2020.

Reconstruction work will be done on Mount Rose Avenue and a section of Haines Road.

The signal at the intersection will be placed on flash mode and traffic will be controlled by flaggers, PennDOT officials said.
