York County voters have one more week to register for November elections

York County residents only have until Monday, Oct. 7, to register to vote in the Nov. 5 general election.

Residents can register or check if they're registered at  www.pavoterservices.pa.gov. They can also register in person at the York County Department of Elections and Voter Registration, located at 28 E. Market St., or by mail to the office.

Aside from the wide variety of municipal and school board positions up for grabs, below is a list of candidates for county offices. All three seats on the Board of Commissioners are open, so voters will select two individuals. The three candidates with the most votes will be the next commissioners.

York County Commissioner

  • Judith Higgins (D)
  • Incumbent Doug Hoke (D)
  • Ron Smith (R)
  • Julie Wheeler (R)

York County Sheriff

  • Shane Becker (D)
  • Incumbent Rich Keuerleber (R)

York County Judge on the Court of Common Pleas

York County Clerk of Courts

  • Dan Byrnes (R)
  • Stacey Duckworth (D)

York County Prothonotary 

  • Allison Blew (R)
  • Sandra Harrison (D)

York County Register of Wills 

  • Pam Nicholson (D)
  • Bryan Tate (R)

York County Treasurer

  • Incumbent Barbara Bair (R) 
  • Ryan Supler (D)
