Bell Socialization Services to show off new apartments for mental health service users
Bell Socialization Services later this month will celebrate its new apartments for mental health service users as a part of its Community Hospital Integration Project Program.
The agency will hold an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the apartments, located at 27 Jefferson Ave. Members of the York County Economic Alliance will also be in attendance, according to a Thursday news release.
Ten individuals who utilize CHIPP have moved from the Yorkshire Apartments on East Market Street into Jefferson Towers, giving them the ability to have a better connection to downtown.
Each resident lives in their own apartment with the ability to socialize in the building's common room. There is also staff on site to provide additional support.
The renovation of the apartments was completed in June and was done by Royal Square Development and Construction.
