York City already is looking for the perfect Christmas to grace Continental Square during the holiday season.

The city wants a spruce tree that is more than 30 feet tall. Anyone who thinks they have the ideal candidate should contact Carol Godfrey at 717-845-9351. The tree will be removed from the individual's property free of charge.

The York City community will gather  Saturday, Dec. 7, for the Light Up York event that includes the lighting of the tree to kick off the holiday season.
