Street sweeping in York City has been canceled on Tuesday, Aug. 20, for any streets marked with signs prohibiting parking on the third Tuesday of the month.

Repairs and maintenance are being done on the sweeper, leading to the cancellations, according to a Monday news release. The sweeper is expected to be functional by noon Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Those with questions should call the city's Public Works Department at 717-849-2245.
