York City released the locations for its annual National Night Out events.

The nationwide event aims to improve the relationship between law enforcement and their respective communities. Games, music and free food will be offered at the following locations on Tuesday, Aug. 6:

  • Bible Tabernacle Church: 6-8 p.m. at 361 S. Pine St.
  • Wellington Center: 6-8 p.m. at  780 E. King St. 
  • Parkway Center: 6-8 p.m. at 140 Willis Lane.
  • Northeast Neighborhood Association/Children’s Home of York: 5:30-8 p.m. at South Pine Street and East Philadelphia Street.
  • The Avenues: 6-8 p.m. at 421 Roosevelt Ave.
  • Union Church/Lehman Center: 5:30-8 p.m. at 408 W. Market St.
  • Calvary United Methodist Church: 6-8 p.m. at 11 N. Richland Ave.
  • Springdale Neighborhood Association: 6-8:30 p.m. at Merion Road and Arlington Road. 
  • Crispus Attucks: 6-8 p.m. at 50 E. Boundary Ave. 
  • Community Progress Council: 6-8 p.m. at 226 E. College Ave. 
  • Faith United Church of Christ/Devers Area Neighborhood Association: 6-8 p.m. at 509 Pacific Ave. 
  • Bethlehem Baptist Church: 6-8 p.m. at  474 S. Pershing Ave.
  • Veterans Memorial Neighborhood Association: 6-8 p.m. at Irving Road and South Pine Street.
  • Salem Square / Lincoln Charter School: 6-8 p.m. at 559 W. King St. 
  • Second Eternal Rock Church: 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 501 W. Market St.
