An 81-year-old woman died three days after a Peach Bottom Township crash, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

The coroner's office said in a news release Wednesday, Oct. 24, that Etta Sizemore was a passenger in a vehicle her husband was driving when it struck another vehicle head-on on Sunday, Oct. 21.

She died at York Hospital Wednesday morning, according to the coroner's office.

The crash, according to the release, happened on Bryansville Road in the area of Cook Road around 10 a.m. that day.

Sizemore, of Fawn Township, was taken to York Hospital by ambulance, and despite medical intervention she succumbed to her injuries Wednesday, the release states.

State police are investigating.

An autopsy is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, Oct. 25.

Additional information is expected to be released Thursday.
