Coroner ID's woman killed in Lower Windsor Twp. crash

A woman was killed in a crash in Lower Windsor Township Thursday night, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

The coroner's office said in a news release that the woman died when the vehicle she was driving struck a truck about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.

The coroner's office identified the victim as 83-year-old Rosemary Holtzinger, of Windsor Township.

Holtzinger failed to stop at a stop sign in the area of Mount Pisgah Road and Yorkana Road, and she struck a Peterbilt truck, according to the release.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 9:55 p.m.

Holtzinger was the only occupant in the vehicle, and she was wearing a seat belt, the coroner's office said. 

Lower Windsor Township Police are investigating the crash. 

There will be no autopsy, the coroner's office said.
