York County is once again under a flood watch.

The National Weather Service issued the watch the morning of Monday, Aug. 13. The watch will remain in effect until midnight.

The weather service said several rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to hit the York County area throughout Monday.

The storms will be capable of producing torrential downpours, leading to some flash flooding in some areas, according to the weather service.
