A Lancaster County man was killed in a Spring Garden Township crash Sunday, July 29, according to officials.

The York County Coroner's Office said in a news release that the crash happened at Loucks Mill Road and Windsor Street about 9:50 p.m. Sunday.

The crash involved a motorcycle and another car, according to the release. The motorcyclist, Brandon Shaeffer, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shaeffer's motorcycle hit the vehicle, according to the release.

The coroner's office said Shaeffer was wearing a helmet and that speed was a factor in the crash. He died of multiple blunt-force trauma, according to the coroner's office. 

There will not be an autopsy, but toxicology testing will be done, according to the release.
