Well-known downtown York City supporters Sean and Mandy Arnold reopened The Left Bank on Thursday after a monthlong renovation project.
The iconic restaurant, at 120 N. George St., features a completely renovated dining room and bar, with a refreshed color scheme. In addition to the new look, guests can also enjoy an improved experience thanks to sound-absorbing lights and architectural features, plus updated modern amenities, including totally renovated bathrooms.
The Left Bank also offers a new private group dining space that can seat up to 22 people. Access to multi-media services will make it an ideal spot for working lunches or presentations.
With the renovations came a new summer menu. Some featured dishes include spicy green beans and bacon, seared foie gras and scallop atop corn cake with spiced berries and grilled peach, sautéed duck breast, ratatouille, a honey apricot tart and The Left Bank candy bar.
