Adults and children enjoyed a hands-on reptile experience during the third week of the Family Nature Patrol at Richard Nixon County Park on Thursday, July 5.
After creating brightly colored, glittery snake art, the children got to meet several species of reptiles from around the world, including bearded dragons, ball pythons and a box turtle.
Recommended for children 4-8, the Family Nature Patrol continues Thursdays, July 19, July 26 and Aug. 2. The fee is $25 for the series. For more information or to register, call 717-840-7440.
