Beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, York City's curbside collections will be delayed one day for the entire week, according to a Wednesday, May 23, city news release.

Areas where collections are usually on Monday will have collections on Tuesday; Tuesday collections will be Wednesday and so forth.

Curbside collections include trash, recycling and yard waste. The delay will only take place through the holiday week, the news release stated.

City offices will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday, the release added.
