York County is under a flash flood watch until noon Monday, April 16.
Bands of heavy rain and thunderstorms moving in from the south will bring widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 2½ inches, with some locations seeing around 3 inches of total rainfall, according to the National Weather Service.
The flood watch warning area also includes Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams and Lancaster counties.
