Recent school threats and the ongoing heroin epidemic will be among the topics of discussion Tuesday during a town hall meeting at Red Lion Area Junior High School, according to the York County District Attorney's Office.

The town hall is set for 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the junior high school, 200 Country Club Road in Red Lion. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Panelists will be York County District Attorney Dave Sunday, Red Lion Area School Superintendent Scott Deisley, York Area Regional Police Chief Tim Damon, York Area Regional Officer Marc Greenly and Jim Doughty of T.W. Ponessa & Associates.

Recent school threats, how to best submit cyber tips and an update on this community's heroin epidemic will be discussed at the town hall, according to a news release from the DA's office.

The town hall originally was scheduled to happen Thursday, March 22, but was canceled because of a snowstorm.
