Update: Northbound I-83 crash cleared

Update 12:55 p.m.: The crash has been cleared, according to 511pa.com.
Reported earlier:
A multi-vehicle crash closing northbound Interstate 83 between the Strinestown and Newberrytown exits is backing up traffic several miles, according to 511pa.com.
At about 10:20 a.m,. the 511pa.com traffic map showed traffic as "stop and go" from the Strinestown exit to past the Emigsville exit, which is more than 4 miles. Traffic is being rerouted to the Strinestown exit on I-83 northbound, and that is also backed up, according to 511pa.com.
A York County 911 supervisor said at about 10:30 a.m. the closure is expected to last another hour or two.
The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. Friday, March 9.
