Coroner: Man struck, killed crossing road in Manchester Twp.

A 60-year-old man died Thursday night after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Manchester Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Branko Joldzic, of Manchester Township, was struck about 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, while crossing in the 1600 block of North George Street, the coroner's release states.

Joldzic was transported to York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead  about 10:20 p.m., according to the release.

The driver of the vehicle — a 29-year-old woman whose name has not been released — remained on the scene and is cooperating with police, according to a news release from Northern York County Regional Police.
