In the spirit of the holidays, LifePath Christian Ministries and the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry will work together to donate Thanksgiving food boxes to 2,500 York County families.

More than 250 volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the former Cadillac dealership at 255 W. King St., where they’ll pack thousands of boxes with food items collected through food drives and donations, according to a news release.

After three hours of stuffing boxes, pre-registered individuals and families can start picking up their boxes at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. Boxes will be distributed until 5 p.m. that evening, with leftover boxes to be delivered to homes the next morning, according to the release.

LifePath’s food donation center at 367 W. Clarke Ave. is still collecting donations, and volunteers can sign up to help with the giveaway at www.YorkGiving.org.
