Nearly 200 people turned out for St. Peter's Lutheran Church's sixth annual Thanksgiving community meal Sunday, Nov. 12.

Volunteers at the North York church roasted 340 pounds of turkey plus all the accompaniments for the meal.

The Thanksgiving dinner was served as the church's normal community meal, which is served the second Sunday of each month.
