State police are giving fair warning to impaired drivers in York County that they can expect increased DUI enforcement through the end of the month.

For the rest of November, troopers will be doing DUI checkpoints and roving DUI patrols, according to state police.

In addition to targeting drunken drivers, troopers also will be looking for drivers impaired by illegal or prescription drugs.

So as not to ruin the surprise, police declined to announce the locations of the checkpoints in advance.
