A second elderly driver involved in a two-vehicle crash in Hopewell Township last week has died, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Dollie Matalon, 75, of Landenburg, Chester County, was pronounced dead at 12:22 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at York Hospital by Deputy Coroner Tania Zech.

Matalon was taken to York Hospital after being involved in a crash about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in Hopewell Township, according to the coroner's office.

State police said Forrest See, 76, of Shrewsbury, was driving a Ford Ranger westbound on Bridgeview Road, just east of Orwig Road, when he crossed the double yellow line for unknown reasons and drove into the path of oncoming traffic.

Matalon was eastbound in a Kia Optima when See's pickup truck crashed into her car, police said.

See was pronounced dead at York Hospital shortly after being taken there by ambulance, officials said.

Matalon died of multiple injuries, according to the coroner's office, which has ruled her death accidental.

No autopsy is planned.
