Jackson Township residents discovered a body on the side of a rural road Saturday morning, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.

A deputy coroner was dispatched to the 700 block of North Biesecker Road, which is just north of Route 234, about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, after the body of 67-year-old James F. Bly was discovered, the office said in a news release.

Bly, who had pre-existing medical conditions, regularly walked along the stretch of road where he was found, according to the coroner’s release.
