Thanks to a $1.8 million capital campaign, DreamWrights Center for Community Arts has unveiled a remodeled lobby, new box office, restrooms and more.
Phase one of the project included a new ADA-accessible elevator, concession area and a new studio space, appropriately called "The Studio."
An open house Thursday evening officially opened the new space and showed off the renovations and improvements with tours.
“Through this campaign, our generous donors have afforded DreamWrights the opportunity to open wide our doors, to draw back the curtains, and offer more innovative programming,” capital campaign co-chair J.T. Hand said in a news release.
Upcoming events at DreamWrights include "Disney's Beauty and the Beast," which opens Friday, Oct. 6, and "All in the Timing," a comedic presentation by an all-star community cast that will be the first show in the new Studio space, Nov. 10-11.
