According to 96.1 SOX, the two York locations are the Walmart Supercenters at West Manchester Town Center in York and Newberry Parkway in Etters. The two Lancaster locations are the Walmart Supercenters at Lincoln Highway East in Lancaster and East Main Street in Ephrata.

The radio station will be collecting school supplies and donations, and stuffing Red Lion School Buses. In addition to not only traditional items — notebooks, pens and pencils — there is also a need for backpacks, lunch boxes, school uniforms and much more, he said. A list of items can be found at www.961sox.com.

All donations from York County will help the children of York County. Donations will be distributed by Veterans Helping Hands.

“Children are our future,” said 96.1 SOX Program Director Bobby D. “We are asking the Susquehanna Valley to invest in our future and make sure that our children and their classrooms are prepared with the right tools as a new school year begins.”

96.1 SOX will be broadcasting live from each location for the entire event.
