A York City girl who had been missing since Friday was found Sunday evening, York City Police said.

Azariah Marie Greer, 13, was found at the skating rink near Hoffman Stadium, according to York City Lt. Troy Bankert.

A tip was received by Bankert at 7:30 p.m. regarding Azariah’s whereabouts, and he said he immediately dispatched police to the location, where they found the teen and placed her into protective custody.

Bankert said Azariah was “completely” unharmed, and he does not believe she was with anyone at the skating rink.

Bankert said he “absolutely” believes Azariah was a runaway.

Azariah did not return home from school Friday, and a search for her began, police said. Tiona Newman, Azariah's guardian, reported the girl missing about 9 p.m. Friday.

Police and her friends and family searched parks and kept an eye on Azariah's social media accounts through the weekend, police said. Police say she had run away twice before and had an argument before she left home.
