STAFF REPORT

The York County Department of Veteran Affairs will conduct a town hall specifically for veterans at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Red Lion, according to a news release.

Deputy Steven Perkins, of the York County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard Team, left, secures the American flag as York County Department of Veterans Affairs Terry Gendron reads the 2016 names of honorees during the 2016 Court of Valor & Safekeepers Shrine Ceremony with York's Observance of the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in North York, Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016. The town hall, to be held at Pleasant View Elementary School, 700 Delta Road, will advise local veterans on current legislative topics, future plans for the local VA community-based outpatient clinic and transportation services.

The event will be held in partnership with the office of U.S. Rep. Scott Perry, R-Dillsburg, Lebanon VA Medical Center and Rabbit Transit.
