Southern York County is in the path of a strong thunderstorm early Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

A storm could bring pea-sized hail and winds in excess of 40 miles an hour to parts of the county, the NWS said.

The storm is expected to last until 6:30 p.m., the service said.

Affected areas include Railroad, Jacobus, Stewartstown, Cross Roads, Delta, Shrewsbury, Glen Rock, Seven Valley, Fawn Grove, Peach Bottom Township, Winterstown, Glenville, Loganville, New Salem and Felton, the NWS said.
