Police: Rt. 116 reopens after 5-car crash near Hanover
About 1:30 p.m., Southwestern Regional Police said the affected portion of Route 116 has reopened in both directions.
A portion of Route 116 — a main road connecting York and Hanover — is expected to be closed for up to two hours because of a five-vehicle crash, police said.
The crash happened about noon Wednesday in Heidelberg Township between Jacobs Mill Road and Spring Street/Longview Drive, according to the York County 911 Center.
The location is northeast of Hanover.
There were no life-threatening injuries reported, according to the 911 Center.
Southwestern Regional Police said they expect that portion of Route 116, also called York Road and Hanover Road, to be closed for an hour or two.
