York City street reopened after pedestrian struck

Update: East Philadelphia Street was reopened just before 9 a.m..

Reported earlier: Both lanes are closed Wednesday morning on East Philadelphia Street near North George Street in York City due to reports of a pedestrian struck, according to York County 911.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene about 5:45 a.m., and a 911 dispatcher said both lanes were still closed as of 8:30 a.m. The dispatcher said the pedestrian struck is injured, but she did not know the extent of those injuries.
