Route 30 reopened after industrial fire
UPDATE: Route 30 in Jackson Township has been reopened to traffic.
REPORTED EARLIER: Route 30 in Jackson Township was shut down by an industrial fire early Monday morning.
The fire at Oldcastle Industrial Materials on Biesecker Road was called just after midnight, according to York County 911 radio dispatches.
Fire crews called for Lincoln Highway (Route 30) to be shut down at KBS Road and also for railroads to stop trains from using the tracks in the area.
Tankers were being called to the area to deliver water to the site of the fire, according to radio dispatches.
Oldcastle Industrial Materials, 550 S. Biesecker Road, supplies aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete and construction and paving services, according to the company website.
