The Big Mount Road bridge over Paradise Creek at the township line between Paradise and Jackson townships is scheduled to close next month for a replacement project, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The replacement work is part of PennDOT's Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, and replacing the bridge will remove it from PennDOT's list of structurally deficient bridges in the county. The bridge is scheduled to close April 11.

The new bridge should be open in late June, according to the release. In the meantime, motorists will be detoured around the bridge by Route 30, Biesecker Road and Route 234.

Weather could change the schedule.

To see the bridges included in the replacement project, check the project's website.
