Crews are on the scene of a row home fire in the 300 block of West Philadelphia Street.

The blaze was reported at 6:44 p.m.

Judy Carpenter and Vicki Hoffman, who live a block away, said they saw smoke and flames coming from third floor.

They estimated the York City Fire Department took 15 to 20 minutes bringing the fire under control.

Carpenter said she was concerned about the other homes in the row.

"You know — one place goes, they all go," she said.
