Wind advisory for York County

York Dispatch

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for York County and the surrounding counties for Monday.

The advisory runs from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, and wind gusts of 45-50 mph are expected, the NWS said.

The strongest winds will come in the morning, the NWS said.

York County could see power outages and downed tree limbs, and high-profile vehicles could be affected by the gusts, the service said.

The forecast also calls for the area to receive up to an inch of rain between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, the NWS said. Some downpours could result in localized flooding.
