The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for York County and the rest of central Pennsylvania.

The advisory is from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, the NWS said.

A light rain or drizzle paired with temperatures in the low 30s could create a thin layer of ice on roads and other surfaces, the service said.

Drivers are reminded to watch out for ice and drive carefully.
