North Codorus Township residents will be able to vote this November whether to increase their number of supervisors from three to five thanks to a recently approved petition.

York County commissioners approved the referendum's placement on the ballot after Nikki Suchanic, director of York County Elections and Voter Registration, told them the petition had received 393 signatures.

The township's board consists of Chairman Nelson Brenneman, whose term expires at the end of 2021; Vice Chairman Dennis Luckenbaugh, whose term expires at the end of 2017; and Rodney Shearer, whose term expires at the end of 2019.
