Police said they were called to the 200 block of Chestnut Street about 2 a.m. for a report of a shooting victim and found Mickle Echevarria-Betancourt, of no fixed address, dead inside the residence from a gunshot wound to the head.

The initial investigation from statements of witnesses in the area indicate the shooting may have been accidental, according to police, but they are still investigating it as a suspicious death.

The York County Coroner released a report that states the death has been reported as "a possible self-inflicted accidental shooting."

An autopsy has been scheduled for Oct. 1 at 8 a.m., according to the coroner.
