Lancaster grandmother who saved girl: 'That dog's a monster'

The Lancaster woman who fought off a stray dog attacking her 9-year-old granddaughter tells LancasterOnline the animal likely would have killed the girl.

“Listen, that dog’s a monster,” Carmen Colondres said as she recounted Wednesday's attack.

Alana Rivera was in stable condition Friday at Hershey Medical Center after surgery to reattach her scalp and ear, according to her aunt, Sugeil Rivera.
