Jeffrey L. Brown, 48, of Hill Street in Spring Garden Township, was riding his motorcycle about 11:41 p.m. Friday on Greenbriar Road in Conewago Township when he collided with a car, the coroner's office said.

Brown was taken to York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:32 a.m. Saturday by Deputy Coroner Jeffri Goodfellow, the office reported.

Brown was not wearing a helmet, the coroner's office said.

An autopsy Monday morning at Allentown's Lehigh Valley Hospital determined Brown died of multiple injuries, according to the coroner's office, which has ruled his death an accident.

On Monday, police issued a news release stating the crash happened at the intersection of East Canal and Greenbriar roads.

Brown was riding a Kawasaki eastbound on East Canal Road, police said.

A northbound Saturn sedan stopped at the stop sign, then entered the intersection and collided with the motorcycle, police said.

The Saturn was driven by a 60-year-old man who escaped injury, according to police. The man's name was not released.

Northern Regional Police said they continue to investigate.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at (717) 292-3647 or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
