Hillary Clinton to speak in Harrisburg Friday night

Hillary Clinton, who is expected to accept the Democratic Party's presidential nomination Thursday night in Philadelphia, will be speaking in Harrisburg on Friday night, according to a campaign news release.

Clinton, the first woman to ever be nominated for president by a major political party, and her running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, are scheduled to appear at 8:30 p.m. at the Broad Street Market, 1233 N. Third St. Doors for the public event will open at 6:30 p.m.

The stop will be her second in a tour through parts of Pennsylvania and Ohio, where Clinton will emphasize her vision for the American economy, according to the release.
