West York Council takes meetings on the road

The West York Borough Council is taking its meetings on the road this summer.

The council's monthly workshop meetings, held on the third Monday of each month, will be held in borough parks and in neighborhoods starting in June. Meetings start at 6 p.m.

Here's a look at when and where the meetings will be held:

June 20: 1100 block of West King Street
July 18: Slagle Park in the 1300 block of West Poplar Street
August 15: Shelley Park in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue
September 19: Johnny Spahr Park in the 100 block of South Sumner Street
