Fire department: York City garage fire intentionally set

A garage fire contained Wednesday morning in York City was intentionally set, according to the York City Fire Department's Twitter account.

York City Fire Department crews on the scene of garage fire in the 800 block of West Princess Street in York City on Wednesday morning.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the two-garage fire on the 800 block of West Princess Street around 5:10 a.m., according to York County 911.

There were no injuries, but both garages were affected, resulting in approximately $10,000 of damages, according to the department's Twitter account.

Fire officials could not immediately be reached to comment.
