The United Way of York County will announce the results of its 2015 fundraising campaign, as well as recognize the volunteers and organizations that made it a success, during its All Star Celebration Tuesday.

In addition to announcing the total amount raised, special recognition awards will be presented to several local organizations, and winners of United Way of York County’s prize giveaways will also be announced. The grand prize is a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and there will also be cash prizes ranging for $250 to $3,000.

The event, which will be held at the Wyndham Garden York’s Ballroom of the Roses, is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Last year's campaign, called "Be Part of the Team that Makes Great Things Happen," kicked off in the beginning of September and emphasized the importance of a united community. The campaign wrapped up at the start of December.

United Way is an international organization with more than 1,800 community-based agencies in 41 countries. It focuses on a variety of initiatives seeking to improve education, income and health on a local, community level.
