Giant Food Stores has removed several flavors of the popular CLIF Bar products over mislabeling concerns.

The bars, known for their organic protein, have been recalled by manufacturer Clif Bar & Co. after failing to mention that some brands of the bars contain allergens such as peanuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts and coconut, according to a news release.

While those with no nut allergies are safe to consume the recalled products, Giant has removed the products from its shelves as a precaution.

Tree nut allergies pose the risk of a life-threatening reaction for those who consume traces of the nuts, according to the release.

The list of CLIF bars, along with sizes and UPC codes, can be found below:

  • CLIF BUILDER’S Protein Chocolate Mint, 2.4 oz., UPC 72225260144 with Lot Codes from 05APR16M3 to 23APR18M3
