Newberry Township Police and state Sen. Mike Folmer are encouraging people to attend a drunk/drugged driving town hall meeting.

The public meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Yocumtown Church of God, 160 Red Mill Road in Goldsboro.

Residents will be asked to voice their concerns and suggestions, and officials will be on hand to answer questions.

In addition to Folmer, R-York, Dauphin and Lebanon counties, speakers will include Newberry Township Police Chief John Snyder; York County chief deputy prosecutor Tim Barker; state Rep. Dawn Keefer, R-Franklin Township; Jerry Spangler, DUI treatment compliance project manager for the state Department of Drug and Alcohol Treatment; and Kristina Bingham, deputy district director of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
