If you have a third-grader in York County schools, chances are they’re headed to Children’s Wellness Days next week.

This year, the 35th annual healthy living event of the York Hospital Auxiliary is a joint effort with the Byrnes Health Education Center. According to a release, the three-day educational program will serve more than 900 third-graders at the center starting Tuesday.

Students will learn about nutrition, exercise, oral hygiene, cyber safety and character building. They’ll also get a visit from police and firefighters to talk about safety habits and from the Margaret Moul Home to show students how those with cerebral palsy are able to do the same things they can.

Registration is already full. Sessions will be twice a day from Oct. 4 to 6 for the registered students.
