Back to school time is here, and planning from staff and administration is in full swing.

At Spring Grove Area School District, change is on the horizon with a new superintendent, and it's important not to miss the details.

"I feel like I'm going 200 mph even though school hasn't started," said Kaylyn Ford, a second-year business education and diversified occupations teacher.

Middle school principal Steve Guadagnino is looking forward to introducing a new transition program for seventh graders, a new learning commons and more science, technology, engineering and math opportunities.

"It’s all the details," he said of preparation — meaning double- and triple-checking teacher and student schedules, supplies and spaces.

"I don't know if I'll ever be ready," Ford joked. "It's kind of like your wedding day."

Below is a list of York County back-to-school dates for public school districts and York County School of Technology; updated information on school lunches, class schedules and busing; and any updated contact information or additional need-to-know changes.
