Tickets are available for the upcoming Distinguished Young Women of York County scholarship competition.

This year's program will be held at 7 p.m. May 5 at Central York High School, featuring 30 students from eight local school districts and two private religious schools — York Catholic and Christian School of York.

The annual competition, entering its 53rd year, offers scholarships to young women for outstanding academic merit and achievement in their talent category.

Last year, Dallastown Area High School junior Emma Stoolmaker won the program.

Below is a full list of contestants with their corresponding talent:

Central York: Carolina Blalock, vocal; Katie Fonda, vocal; Maura O'Mahony, vocal; Mikella Wisler, marimba.

Christian School of York: McKenzie Hofer, saxophone.

Dallastown: Alexa Fisher, tap dance; Olivia Myers, cello; Rebecca Rehrey, violin; Lauren Smith, vocal; Jordan Striebig, vocal; Eva Wolfe, oboe.  

Eastern: Emily Smith, piano.

Northeastern: Rose Bush, clarinet; Abigail Darrah, cello; Gracen Garman, vocal; Brynn MacDonald, vocal; Rachel Means, dance; Madeline Miller, dance; Isha Patel, dance. 

Red Lion: Cassidy Graham, twirling; Riley Miller, dance.

Spring Grove: Julia Sowers, vocal.

West York: Rachel Ritchey, vocal.

York Catholic: Rebekah Boyer, sign language; Kaitlyn Staub, saxophone; Rachel Strode, flute; Abigail Wurzbach, vocal. 

York Suburban: Zoe Hornberger, spoken word; Caroline Liu, piano; Margaret Senft, drums.
