New assistant superintendent at Northeastern

Randi Payne has been confirmed as Northeastern York School District's new assistant superintendent.
According to a news release from the district, the school board confirmed Payne at its March 6 meeting.
Payne has been a district staff member since 1996, according to the release. She has served as an English language arts and special education teacher in the middle school and intermediate school and as principal at Mount Wolf Elementary School.
“Northeastern is lucky to have such an experienced and dedicated educator to serve as the district’s next assistant superintendent," Superintendent Stacey Sidle said in the release. "Dr. Payne is already a valued member of our district staff and the Northeastern community,”
Payne holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Slippery Rock University, a master’s in teaching and curriculum from Penn State University, a principal’s certification from McDaniel College and a doctorate in educational leadership and a superintendent’s letter of eligibility from Immaculata University.
“Northeastern is my home. It’s where I live. It’s the district my own children attend,” Payne said. “I’m grateful and excited to take on this new role and look forward to continuing my service to the students, parents, staff and community of the Northeastern School District. "
